Gifts

Our gift selection is an eclectic mix of good quality traditional items (wooden toys, stoneware teapots) to the more unusual (raffia toy box houses and ‘hobby lions’ made in Madagascar).  Look out for our beautiful new wooden bookends (see the bunny below) - there are lots more designs to choose from at the shop.

We source the gift range internationally through companies such as RICE, House Doctor and MAKE Int. while also seeking out home grown talent.  The latter includes a very successful local designer, Kate Samphier, who lives in St Boswells but sells her work across the UK and Europe.  Her beautiful lavender bunnies have been a huge success (mostly being bought for a newborn’s moses basket), and her baby booties are also one of our bestsellers.

Our gift department is enhanced by Diana Muir Antiques which sits alongside the cafe and attracts lots of attention.  Diana has a keen eye for beautiful chairs, delicate tables and chests of drawers as well as lots of very affordable smaller items.  Her stock changes regularly so do keep checking back.
