Rifling Through my Drawers by Clarissa Dickson Wright

Clarissa Dickon Wright gave our first ever event at The Sugarhouse Gallery (the barn behind the shop), and what a way to start.  She was more stand up comedian than conventional author, and the audience was laughing along with her from the first.

Among many other stories, she recounted one tale of cooking the dinner party of her life, but waking up the following morning with absolutely no memory of the experience.  It was only years later that, on meeting one of the guests, she was able to discover what she'd actually produced for the ten courses required by her hostess!

We were thrilled to have Clarissa to the shop, she certainly enjoyed a very enthusiastic reception from her audience, no doubt the rest of her book tour will go with a bang.
