MICK HERRON – AUTHOR EVENT

MICK HERRON – AUTHOR EVENT

We are thrilled to announce that Mick Herron, creator of the bestselling Slough House thriller series will be with us at Mainstreet on Thursday 26th May. The books have just launched (titled Slow Horses) in a major TV series starring Gary Oldman and Kristen Scott Thomas.

Mick will be talking about his latest book, Bad Actors, continuing the adventures of a group of misfit spies led by the sardonic Jackson Lamb (aka Gary Oldman). We are very lucky to have two writers for the price of one with Simon Conway interviewing Mick. Simon is the bestselling author of The Stranger and The Saboteur – both utterly addictive thrillers.

Politics is a dangerous game. In MI5 a scandal is brewing and there are bad actors everywhere. A key member of a Downing Street think-tank has disappeared without a trace. Claude Whelan, one-time First Desk of MI5’s Regent’s Park, is tasked with tracking her down. But the trail leads straight back to Regent’s Park HQ itself, with its chief, Diana Taverner, as prime suspect.
