Named after Dickens’ Pickwick Papers, this giant teddy bear sometimes joins his owner (Vicky) behind the books till. Pickwick is an enthusiastic fellow who adores attention. Sometimes he gets too excited and forgets other people’s personal space but he simply wants to give as much love to humans as possible.

Meet Luna! Luna’s humans are Roz & Bill and she loves to join them when they come into the shop. She is incredibly cute and is absolutely shameless in using this to her advantage when seeking attention.

Maya knows her way around the kitchen like the back of her hand and is often the grounded and calming source for other staff members during rushes. She likes to practise her cooking at home and to practise her art, as this is what she truly loves to do.

Niamh is our kitchen superstar. Not only does she keep the kitchen sparkling, she can also be found up on the café floor practising her coffee skills. When she is not at Mainstreet, she is studying hard for school, with the hope of one day going into the medical profession, and playing hockey.

Brooke has returned to Mainstreet for the summer after surviving her first year at university studying business. In her spare time she enjoys playing netball and, given the opportunity, she loves to chat to everyone.

Marcus may seem quiet, but he can be quite chatty and will come out with some great jokes (when he can get a word in edgewise with the chatty café crew). He helps bake our fresh scones in the morning and makes a great coffee.

This multi-talented lady is a qualified engineer with a great love for cooking, baking and all things musical. You will also often see Alice wearing the clothes that she makes for herself and she now combines her work at Mainstreet with studying for an MSc in Mechanical Engineering.

Caron can usually be seen smiling through our kitchen windows where she is found cooking, baking and singing. She brings the sunshine, often getting the staff dancing as they pass through to keep their spirits high. She loves all things fresh and colourful and enjoys raiding our cookbook selection for inspiration.

Jackie is famous for her Chocolate Guinness Cake. She always likes to experiment with new cakes to keep customers coming back to see what is new in the cake cabinet. When she finds a spare moment to be away from her oven, she likes to spoil her grandchildren.
