To celebrate Bookshop Day we were delighted to have the brilliant children’s author and illustrator, Holly Swain, in the shop for a special picture book reading and workshop event for her new book, Colin’s Grandma.  This was greatly enjoyed by all the children (and parents!) and everyone left with a lovely little book they had illustrated themselves!

Mainstreet regulars will know that we are huge fans of Holly’s brilliant creation – Colin, the vegetarian vampire and his nemesis, Duck. The great news is Colin’s back and this time, Grandma is coming to visit…!
