The one and only Prue Leith sold out St Boswell’s Village Hall
What an evening! It was nothing short of an honour to have the one and only Dame Prue Leith visit St Boswells on Friday to share her wit and wisdom with us all.
From bath plugs found in salads to getting sculptures placed on long-empty plinths, Prue had the Village Hall laughing away while she recounted some of her faux pas through the years as well as the favourite moments of her career.
Thank you to everyone who came along to join us, to Suzanne Mulholland (a.k.a The Batch Lady) for being a great interviewer and most of all to Prue, for making the journey to Scotland and delighting us all with your incredible stories.
‘It’s taken me a long life to know for sure that life is for living, and that hard graft has to be worth it. So, if you are whacked, short of time or just don’t like cooking, cheating is fine. I cheat all the time, and I LOVE cooking.’ – Prue Leith
