Named after Dickens’ Pickwick Papers, this giant teddy bear sometimes joins his owner (Vicky) behind the books till. Pickwick is an enthusiastic fellow who adores attention. Sometimes he gets too excited and forgets other people’s personal space but he simply wants to give as much love to humans as possible.

Little Raven has recently joined the team, becoming a Mainstreet shop dog. Daughter of Luna, she follows in her mother’s footsteps in adoring attention and sitting beautifully to distract staff & customers alike.

Meet Luna! Luna’s humans are Roz & Bill and she loves to join them when they come into the shop. She is incredibly cute and is absolutely shameless in using this to her advantage when seeking attention.

Maya knows her way around the kitchen like the back of her hand and is often the grounded and calming source for other staff members during rushes. She likes to practise her cooking at home and to practise her art, as this is what she truly loves to do.

After a little encouragement, Zoe followed in her sister Niamh’s footsteps and joined the MST team. Level-headed and calm, Zoe helps the team stay on track and knows how to get the job done with minimal fuss. Outside of Mainstreet, she is very keen on piano, taking lessons every week to be constantly improving.

Niamh is our kitchen superstar. Not only does she keep the kitchen sparkling, she can also be found up on the café floor practising her coffee skills. When she is not at Mainstreet, she is studying hard for school, with the hope of one day going into the medical profession, and playing hockey.

Helen, who is always smiling, has been with us since September 2022 and has been a key member of our Sunday team ever since. In her down time she enjoys spending time with her cat and her granddaughters.

Katrina has moved back to the Borders after she has spent several years in Aberdeen. While up north, she studied art at university. With an art degree under her belt, you may start seeing her in our windows creating some new displays…Watch this space!

We are very lucky that Georgina has come to Mainstreet while taking a break from being a veterinary nurse. In her spare time she enjoys walking and running. Somehow, she also manages to fit in a bit of DJing with her sister – playing in venues across Edinburgh and even in Ibiza.

Korrine joined us from Fort William and has slotted into the Mainstreet team nicely. She loves Taylor Swift and in her spare time goes to lots of different concerts. Having recently moved to the Borders, she is enjoying being able to explore all of the hidden gems that our gorgeous area has to offer.
