Please join us at Mainstreet to meet TV presenter and lifelong dog lover, Ben Fogle, on Friday 2nd October. He will be talking about a subject close to many of our hearts, Labradors.

With stories of RNIB Labradors and Labradors at war, Labradors as working dogs and every other manifestation of Labrador/human interaction, Fogle writes engagingly and passionately about our lasting love for one of man’s best friends and companions.

Exploring their origins, early characteristics and varied ‘careers’ – everything from gun dogs and police dogs to therapy dogs, and perhaps most importantly, as family pets. He draws on the extraordinary experiences we have encountered with Labradors to tell the story of a dog breed which has captured our imagination and love for hundreds of years.
