Regulars at Mainstreet will know that Midweek Recipes and Weekend Recipes are two of our all-time favourites in the café, so we’re very excited to see what Jess has come up with for the new book…
“In this, the third book in the series, I’m sharing my favourite vegetarian dishes that celebrate the glorious variety of vegetables available throughout the seasons. Including recipes for Leeks Vinaigrette and Celeriac Remoulade for enjoying with baguette; crispy Fennel and Onion Bhajis; a light summertime lasagne with courgettes and ricotta béchamel and comforting pumpkin-curry pastries for the colder months, this book is filled with easy, reliable dishes for everyone to enjoy. Written, tested and published from my Studio in Edinburgh, with photography taken at The Hugo Burge Foundation glasshouses in the Scottish Borders.” – Jess
