We have always loved audiobooks at Mainstreet, so it’s a joy that, after the death of the CD and many years of online monopoly, we are able once more to bring you a choice of how to buy audiobooks. See below for more information.
VOXBLOCK
Aimed primarily at the children’s books market, Voxblock is the perfect blend of high tech/low tech. The player looks and feels like a nice chunky tablet, but is also, somehow, book’ish. You simply drop the audiobook (about the size of an old cassette tape) into the player and the story begins. No screen, no WiFi, no download, no app, headphones optional.
