Just a stone’s throw down the road in the Tweed Valley lives Durty Brewing, a brewery that has been inspired by the downhill trails, incredible landscapes and the sense of adventure that is found in the owners’  hometown of Innerleithen. With the tagline ‘great beers for thrill-seekers’, these beers are there for when you want to have a ‘cheers’ with your mates after a day of adventures in the hills. 

As an extension of Durty Events, Durty Brewing was started as a bit of a lockdown project and has grown ever since. Having previously commissioned beers for their events, they decided to take the leap and try making their own. After finding a brewery in Selkirk they managed to turn this idea into reality and have been selling their beers online since summer 2022. 

After all of their hard work, it is incredibly wonderful to see that the Angry Sheep lager is a finalist in the best lager category in the Scottish Beer Awards 2023. This lager was named after the trail in Innerleithen and, just like the trail, it is very accessible and subtle. 

We love supporting local and we are so excited to see these guys continue to grow. Their new Taproom in Innerleithen is coming very soon and they will be offering Brewery tours and tastings as well. So, watch this space!
