After all these years of not being able to find bright, well-made tapered candles we finally found Candle Flair.

This is another one of our favourite companies that we discovered at Top Drawer last year and has brought us great joy! We know the importance of having a candle that is both beautiful and practical and Candle Flair have nailed it.

The candles do not drip, they are slow to burn so they are worth every penny, and they come in a range of gorgeous colours. They are exactly what you need for your dinner parties, celebrations, gatherings or simply to make a dreamy setting and striking interior feature in your home.

ABOUT CANDLE FLAIR

Candle Flair is a London based company that was established in 2021 by Olivia Walton. It is female founded and their objective is to “encourage the exploration of design” and to have their candles create beautiful ambiences, act as striking and colourful accessories or be given as the ultimate gift.

All of their candles are hand dipped and made with 100% premium pure paraffin wax that is sustainable sourced. This creates the long lasting burn times and with 100% cotton wicks they try to make sure they have the cleanest burn possible.

STYLING TIPS

In the words of founder Olivia Walton, “candles can bring magic into a home” and with their ambient glow can create warmth and beauty. Whether they are placed on a mantlepiece or on the dining table for large events or an intimate family dinner, they instantly elevate any setting.

However, candles do not have to be solely reserved for the dining table. By varying their height, shape and colour candles can be used as an interior object anywhere. They are a great way to add a pop of colour to a room without too much effort or expense. Place them on a side unit or try burning them beside a mirror to create an enchanted feel and play with the light.

If you use Candle Flair’s range of colours, you can design tablescapes and designs to revolve around the seasons or themes. (We will be changing the colour range we have in stock at the shop to match the seasons/special occasions).

We all love a candle here at Mainstreet and are of the opinion that every tabletop or occasion is made better by them. Candlelight is subtle, atmospheric, comforting (and forgiving!). So, although Candle Flair candles look just as good unlit as they do with the flicker of a flame atop them, we say don’t save your candles for your best/special occasions, life’s too short! Light the candles and enjoy their golden glow!
