We were thrilled to welcome Great British Bake-Off winner, Peter Sawkins to Mainstreet on Thurs 20th October 2022.

Ready, Set, Bake!

With his second book Peter wants to share his love of cooking from an early age with children and their parents across the country. Including a step-by-step guide, recipe glossary and easy dietary swaps, Peter’s Baking Party includes simple recipes for novice bakers starting out, and showstopping pieces for skilled young chefs to wow their friends and family.

This was a family event aimed at 8 to 80yrs with Peter demonstrating a recipe from his new book, chatting about his love of baking and answering all your questions.

Our bakers and cafe team came along to the event and got to ask any tips in baking and scone making.
